Documentary Photography workshop with Arindam Mukherjee in Kolkatta

Photojournalist, Arindham Mukherjee, has organised a Documentary Photography Workshop in Kolkata. (See some beautiful work to the site, with one of his stories (The Gulabi Gang) already appearing in Grazia magazine in the UK. 1^st day
• Portfolio review of participants with detailed discussion
• Projection of Arindam’s and other renowned photographers' work with detailed discussion

• Tips on documentary photography and cinematic angles.

2nd day
•  Photographers will shoot in Kolkata to practice the first day’s session and join the class at 12 Noon

After lunch
• Discussion and individual assessment of the days shoot
• Discussion about building up a photo story/portfolio
• Discussion on shot divisions

3rd day
• Editing (shot selections)
• Discussion on Thematic work, Issue based work and Narrative work
• Discussion on photographic market place
• Discussion on presentation
• Discussion on how to work according to market demand
• Pricing your photography
• Copyright issues
• Collaborations and pitching stories

• Technical discussions are not a part of this workshop
