Appeal for Wikipedia spirit for Dossier on Sports Climbing in India

Thank you for the response to the initiative on

Dossier on Sports Climbing in India
Status Report: Asian Games 2018, emailed to you yesterday.

https://patrakarnagarchakatta.wordpress.com/2018/08/20/a-dossier-on-sports-climbing-in-india/

Several media teachers and journalists have appreciated the effort to create awareness about the game Sport Climbing. I have spoken to Prof Bora (HoD Tezpur, Prof B
alasubramanya (now in Bangalore). They have appreciated the idea to create contents in Assamese and Kannada, on the lines of Marathi text I have uploaded on my blog. Prof Mrinal assured me that he would coordinate for Odia and Bengali contents and local contents about the Sport Climbing.

These contents are for free download. Print, Electronic, and online journalists may use these contents as a curtain raiser, backgrounder, and news stories. This idea was conceived on the backdrop of the Asian Games, Jakarta.
The weeklong events began this morning.
Although it is late to catch up for the coverage, we may keep this as an ongoing activity.

We can follow the Wikipedia spirit.

As our telephonic discussion emerged, the HoDs may consider this as an extension activity of the department. Or, use your good offices with the local newspapers and sports journalists for translating and writing fresh contents.

In any case, this is not an income-generating or moneymaking activity. It has to be a voluntary initiative.

Please send in your comments and suggestions. Send your contents to:
Regards.
