Wanted Researcher, not journalist

Project Officer- Media Research, Delhi

The Media Foundation requires a project officer to run a multi-state media research project involving audience research. Skills required include an understanding of media research methods, demonstrated administrative ability to run a research project, and appropriate post-graduate social science or communications qualifications. This is NOT a job which requires journalistic skills, but research organizing and monitoring skills. Qualified Dalit and OBC candidates are encouraged to apply. 

Work will involve organising focus group discussions, tracking tv programme monitoring by groups in different cities, consolidating data for processing, travel to all the states, supervising training workshops, liasing with partner instititutions, etc.
  
Educational Qualification:

Ph.D or post-graduate social science or communications qualifications

Experience Required:

Four to Five years of working or research experience in Communications or Social Science Research required. Preferred age: 28- 35 years.

Salary Offered :

Rs 35-40,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
